Vinamilk was established under the name Southern Milk - Coffee Company and took over 3 factories: Thong Nhat Milk Factory, Truong Tho Milk Factory, and Dielac Powdered Milk Factory.

2003
- Equitization and name change to Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company
- Vinamilk inaugurated Binh Dinh Milk Factory.
- Vinamilk inaugurated Saigon Milk Factory.

2010
- Invested $10 million to hold 19.3% of Miraka Limited in New Zealand and increased to 22.81% in 2015.
- In 2022, Miraka is an affiliated company with a 16.96% ownership ratio due to Miraka's capital increase.

2013
The investment held 96.11% of shares of Thong Nhat Thanh Hoa Dairy Cow Company Limited, then increased to 100% in 2017; also in this year, the investment held 70% of shares of Driftwood Dairy Holdings Corporation in California, USA and increased to 100% in 2016.

Contributed 51% capital to establish AngkorMilk Company in Cambodia and increased to 100% in 2017

Invest in holding 20% of shares of APIS JSC.

2017
Invested in holding 65% of shares of Vietnam Sugar Joint Stock Company and 25% of shares of Asia Coconut Processing Joint Stock Company.

Invested in holding 65% of shares of Vietnam Sugar Joint Stock Company and 25% of shares of Asia Coconut Processing Joint Stock Company.

2019
Invested in holding 75% of shares of GTNFoods JSC, thereby participating in the management of Moc Chau Milk JSC with a herd of 27,500 cows.

2021
Contributed 50% capital to establish a joint venture with Del Monte Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) - a leading food and beverage enterprise in the Philippines and has officially distributed products to consumers here since Q4/2021

2022
March
VNM contributed an additional capital of 8,220,273 USD (equivalent to 188,902 million VND) to Lao-Jagro Development XiengKhouang Company Limited, increasing its ownership ratio from 85.54% to 87.32%; swapped shares, merged GTNFoods into Vietnam Livestock Corporation (Vilico).
May
Together with Moc Chau Milk, we started the construction of the "Eco-farm, high-tech dairy cows" and received the Decision approving the investment policy for the Moc Chau high-tech milk processing factory, officially building the Moc Chau Milk Paradise Complex.

Received 1000 purebred HF dairy cows imported directly from the US to Lao-Jagro Farm

Announced to increase total investment capital for projects in Cambodia to 42 million USD (equivalent to nearly 1,100 billion VND) and planned to build a dairy farm with raw milk output reaching over 4,000 tons/year.
